This is a causal blog that loves video games, a few tv shows and making stupid art and stories.
This is for my best friend letsgetfricative! She’s doing really well in her classes and good work deserves a reward!

Summary: Katara takes Korra to Republic City to introduce her to the Council. While there, Korra makes a playdate with a new friend.
Rating: K+
Length: 864 words
Pairing: Implied Borra.
“…He didn’t know why he’d choose that particular phrase, but when he stepped into the gym, the first words out of his mouth were, “There you are! I’ve been looking everywhere for you!”
We all know that Toph is pissed about her baby’s bending being taken away. And we’re all expecting Korra to go into the Avatar State when Amon pins her down, but I’m proposing something else:
Because no-one fucks with the Beifong’s and lives to tell the tale, I think Toph is going to bypass the other Avatar’s, challenging herself through Korra and kick some equalist ass.
You know how Korra closes her eyes in that finale preview?
That’s Toph taking over.
Now that’s what I call a finale.

For the last three Avatars (at least) a friend has transcended from being the friend of the old avatar to their mentor/friend of the new one. Like this:
Gyatso: Roku & Aang
Katara: Aang & Korra
I think it’s also worth mentioning that these friends are benders of the next Avatars element:
Gyatso: Air
Aang: Air
Katara: Water
Korra: Water
So, assuming this is all not a coincidence, the next element for the avatar is earth, so will Bolin be the new mentor/friend for the new Avatar? It breaks my heart to think about Bolin going through this like Katara has to.
